Preceptorships

Preceptorships are one-time learning opportunities for students in which they gain hands-on experience in a health care setting under the guidance of a physician experienced in their field. Preceptorships are available to all AED members. They are not point opportunities, but they are great resume builders and give you a head start on discovering which field of medicine you may be interested in pursuing.
If you are interested in participating, please contact cmuir1@lsu.edu with your name, classification (freshmen, sophomore,...) and the names of the top 3 physicians you are interested in shadowing.
